Undergrad

Florida International University

B.S. in Industrial Engineering: 1989 - 1993

Lonny didn't venture far from home in attending FIU for his undergrad studies. Coming from a long line of engineers in his family and with a strong mathematical background, Industrial Engineering seemed like a great fit for Lonny's career.

Grad School

MIT Sloan School of Business

MBA in Financial Engineering: 2001 - 2003

After 7 years as an engineer, Lonny slowly and painfully realized that this was not the career he wanted for the next 50 years. He decided to take the risk of quitting his secure job and returning to school for an MBA. Fortunate to both get into MIT and have a wife that was willing to support him, Lonny moved to Boston to start the first of many career changes. The time at MIT was an incredible experience for Lonny as he was able to meet some of the smartest people in the world, get educated on an entirely new career, and dominate the intramural softball leagues.
